In this presentation from AppForum Americas 2012, Rick Rogers, co-author of O'Reilly's Android Application Development and Motorola's Mx Product Manager, discusses Android extensions to enhance the platform for use as an enterprise OS, including substitutes for Google Mobile Services apps (Maps, Speech Rec, C2DM, etc.).
Additionally, to demonstrate development practices, Rick walks through and modifies a price check application to include barcode scanning.
